About Connected Breath
In my decades of experience as a mind-body therapist; Breathwork has delivered results more rapidly, consistently, effectively, affordably, and enjoyably than any other modality I’ve worked with.
I discovered breathwork after an extended period of chronic pain and a series of injuries and major life stresses that had me locked into a constant state of suffering. Through daily breathwork sessions, I recovered rapidly and felt better than I'd felt in decades. I'm inspired and compelled to bring together my extensive experience to weave fun, transformative breathwork sessions, so others can gain the benefits that I have.
Trained through SOMA Breath®, I create sessions with the keen knowledge of how to impact our physiology through breath. My training as a transformational hypnotherapist, coach and facilitator allows me to take participants on a transformative journey with immediate impact and the potential for life changing benefits with a regular path of practice.

Coming back
from burnout
Today we are faced with an epidemic of burnout. A recent survey of New Zealand workers showed that an astounding 61% of employees had experienced burnout within the 3 months of being surveyed. What's really alarming is that while all age groups had high levels of burnout, it is our youngest subset that are struggling the most. To me that highlights the importance of building unshakeable resilience starting early in life.
From my own experience, burnout was beneath all of the symptoms of chronic fatigue, pain, anxiety and depression that crept into my life 7 years ago. My cup was empty after years of overgiving and failing to support my own wellbeing. It undermined my relationships and held me back from meeting my potential. It's taken me all of that time to fight my way back. While I've explored many paths to recovery, it was breathwork that not only restored my energy, but supported me to access a joyful state of being.
In these challenging times, we need to develop toolkits to build our ability to weather life's storms. Supporting our mental wellbeing is no longer a luxury, but an imperative.
